Witmer Jones Keefer Landscape Architects Squarespace Website Design Gallery

Witmer Jones Keefer, a landscape architectural firm, came to Means-of-Production with a an existing Squarespace website. They requested an update to the design of the site and a rethink of the sites information architecture. The homepage has a series of three buttons to encourage click-throughs to the work.

This portfolio webpage has an uncomplicated, inset scrolling gallery of photographs and renders of the firms work. The large banner use renders that are slightly muted with a white transparent overlay giving the pages on this site a unique look.

In keeping with the clean minimalistic look of the site, the about webpage features the biographies and portraits of the firms principals.

This site has a simple elegant design with a brand identity and color pallet that feels right for a Lowcountry South Carolina landscape design firm. When designing a contact page with a map, I find it is useful to place the map on the left of the page. This prevents the nuisance of changing the map size when the cursor rolls over it.

Due to the growth of the firm, Witmer Jones Keefer is always seeking new employees. A careers page was created to attract the best talent possible in the Bluffton, South Carolina area.
